Booking
How do I book a boat?
Book online through the Book Online button, call us at (619) 394-5184 or email info@ecoboatrent.com. You will get a confirmation right away.
Are prices per person or per boat?
Per boat. Pedal boats fit up to 3 adults and a small child, electric boats fit up to 6 guests.
Can I buy a gift card?
Yes. Gift cards are available in any amount and can be used for every boat type. Ask us on the Contact page.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancel up to 24 hours before your ride for a full refund. Weather cancellations are always refunded or rescheduled.
On the water
Do I need experience or a license?
No. We give every group a short briefing and all boats are easy to steer. The pink boat comes with a licensed captain.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes! Dogs are welcome on all boats and we have dog life jackets in every size.
Can we bring food and drinks?
Food and non-alcoholic drinks are welcome on rentals. Ask us about the rules for private pink boat charters.
Are life jackets provided?
Yes, for adults, kids and dogs. Children must wear them at all times.
What happens if the weather is bad?
If wind or rain makes the bay unsafe we will contact you to reschedule or refund.
Before you arrive
When should I arrive?
Please arrive 15 minutes before your start time to check in and sign the waiver.
Where do I park?
We are at 2608 Shelter Island Dr #103, San Diego, CA 92106. Public parking is available on Shelter Island; please allow extra time on summer weekends.
What should I bring?
Sunscreen, sunglasses, water, a light jacket for night rides and your camera.
